Tourist guide of Milos island
This volcanic island offers beautiful beaches with fine sand.
The capital of the island is Plaka (Milos), which maintains elements of island architecture.

Apollonia is eminently a resort. In the summer it has a cool climate! From Apollonia the boats make trips to the neighboring port of Psathi in Kimolos and also visit Glaronissia and Papafragas cave.
It is worth visiting the picturesque seaside villages of Pachaina, Agios Konstantinos and Mytakas. Opposite Adamas is one of the "retreats" of Milos, the area of Emporio.

Zefiria was the medieval capital of the island.
It's worth visiting the old cathedral church of Our Lady, Portiani and the medieval remains - the ruins reminiscent of the medieval past of Zefiria.
Kleftiko – Sikia, Klima, Paliochori - Agia Kyriaki and Provatas are small villages that offer peaceful holidays. At Paliochori, in many places, hot sulphurous water gushes.
Also, it is worth visiting Chivadolimni, which took its name from the countless clams found on the seabed.

The road network in Milos is very good with the main roads paved while the unpaved roads are passable.

The main port of Milos is Adamas. Pollonia also has a port but is used mainly for a coastal link with Kimolos.
Daily trips by lying dolphin or catamaran from Piraeus. There are also daily excursions by boat or small ships are organized so as to be able to do the round of the Milos and go to the beaches. Also you can visit Kimolos from Pollonia.
There are daily flights from Athens. You can go to the aiport of Milos (in Adamas) only by taxi or by car.
