Access
You can go by car to Astakos (Aetoloakarnania) or Kefalonia and then by ferry to Ithaca.

By bus:
There is coastal link with Kefalonia, Lefkada, Patra and Astakos. Vathy and Piso Aetos connect with Patra all year long through Sami. Piso aetos connects with Fiskardo, Vasiliki and Astakos. Also, there are routes from Frikes to Fiskardo and Vasiliki or Nydri.
