Ammoglossa is a very nice sandy beach shaped as its name suggests (sand’s tongue) with wonderful crystal waters.
It is located close to Lefkada town in the northern part of the island, next to the lighthouse and the entrance to the island. On one side (the inner towards the castle) the sea is very shallow, ideal for children, while the other is deeper and, depending on the weather, wavy.
