In old times here in Aegina we will find a very important navy and trade power. Access to Aegina is possible by ferry from the port of Piraeus. Local transportation is very good so transportation by car is unnecessary. There are regular bus routes for the most areas of the island by the local bus.
Daily ferry departures from the port of Piraeus to Aegina, arrival after 1 hour and 15 minutes. Pireaus - Souvala trip duration is 1 hour.
From the port of Piraeus, in front of the church of Agios Spiridonas, dophins leave every day. Trip duration to Aegina is 35 minutes and to Agia Marina 1 hour.
