The beautiful beach of Punda (no relation to the cosmopolitan Punda located on the eastern side of the island) is located southwest of Parikia, opposite Antiparos and in front of the settlement of Punda.

In the strait between the two islands, the sea is relatively wild with ideal winds for the surfers’ endless fun.
You will find a couple of cafes and a surf club where you can enjoy music and refreshing drinks as well as businesses that rent equipment for surfing or kite surfing.

It attracts mostly water sports fans, since the lack of any natural shade is a negative aspect of the beach for many visitors.
Next to the beach is the small port that connects Paros to Antiparos.
The access is easy and fast via the existing road network and the distance from the island's capital, Parikia, is about 9 km
