Leaving the car outside the village, we enter the main street with the street vendors, who supply us with aromatic and medicinal herbs, sweets, chestnuts and apples.

On foot, we will reach the central square with its marble fountains and the perennial tree, under of which, during the summer, there are tables for our coffee. But also, at this time, during the winter sunshine, a coffee from this "balcony" in Pagassitikos is magic.

Here is the stone church of Saint John the Baptist (1800), a miniature of the local architecture. Next to it, the strange fountain, "Immortal water", to which end all streets of the village.
We take a look inside the cafe – ouzo shop “Theophilos” in the square. Here is preserved a great fresco by the painter Theophilos, which represents Katsandonis death. Just above, we find the Church of the Assumption (basilica of 1767), with interesting reliefs fitted to outside walls.

Mansion Topali "hosts" today the very interesting Museum of Folk Art and History of Pelion. In its rooms we will see a representation of a mansion house with full household equipment, jewelry, photographs, tools, books, costumes, banners, community’s documents etc.
