Kavourotripes beach in Halkidiki
A cluster of small beaches located 23 km south of Vourvourou and 6 km north of Sarti, on a coastline more than 5km long.
Stunning turquoise waters and rocks sculpted by artists, give these beaches a distinctive touch.
You will not find detailed signage on the way to visit Kavourotrypes so attention is needed as you approach the area to find the correct exit.
Apart from Portokali beach where there is a beach bar of the same name, the rest are not organized but isolated and deserted and you should go prepared so as not to encounter difficulties. A beautiful beach with white sand and hidden coves with smaller sandy shores.
It is not one of the well-known beaches in Sithonia but it offers you tranquility and relaxation while you face nature and the blue waters of the sea which create a unique landscape.
On the beach, you will see a huge mermaid which is carved by an anonymous artist on the rock.
Access is a little difficult and is usually done on foot through the trails. It is a fantastic place definitely worth visiting.
