Most of the beaches are sandy and you can reach them either on foot or by a cart, which is a unique experience for the way towards Alykes. At the same time, at its more tourist beaches you can exercise sea sports. It is still ideal for those who love fishing, since at its blue waters there is a variety of aquatic life.

In Ammouliani you'll have the possibility to rent a small craft (a boat driving license is not required) and explore the whole island or even visit small island complexes that are found around it.

There are many fish restaurants in the area where you can eat the freshest seafood you've ever tasted! The island has a large fishing fleet (the second largest in Central Macedonia) and you will find fresh fish as in Ammouliani "yesterday's fish is not considered fresh" !!!!!
